Do your drone pilots have FAA certification?
Yes. All Los Angeles Drone Pro pilots hold FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificates, and we carry up to $10M in liability insurance. We obtain all necessary airspace authorizations for flights in LA's controlled airspace.
How quickly can you complete a drone shoot in LA?
Most real estate shoots can be scheduled within 24-48 hours, weather permitting. Same-day service is available for rush requests. Construction mapping and larger projects typically need 3-5 days notice for planning and airspace authorizations.
Can you fly drones anywhere in Los Angeles?
Most of LA is flyable, but the region has some of the busiest airspace in the country — LAX, Hollywood Burbank, Santa Monica, Long Beach, and Van Nuys airports all impose authorization requirements. We check every location before confirming and obtain LAANC authorization where needed, usually within 24-48 hours.
What if the weather is bad on shoot day?
We monitor weather closely and will reschedule if conditions aren't suitable (rain, high winds, marine layer, poor visibility). June Gloom is real — we build weather flexibility into coastal shoots and reschedule for free.
What deliverables do I get for real estate shoots?
Typically 15-30 professionally edited aerial photos in MLS-ready and print-ready formats, delivered within 24-48 hours. Video flyovers, twilight shoots, and neighborhood context packages are available as add-ons.
What file formats do you deliver for construction and mapping?
We deliver GeoTIFF orthomosaics, DXF/DWG for CAD integration, point clouds, and exports compatible with Autodesk, Procore, and other platforms. We can customize formats to your workflow.
Are you insured for commercial work?
Yes. We carry up to $10M in liability coverage. Certificates of insurance are available on request for property managers, brokers, and construction sites that require documentation.
Do you shoot video as well as photos?
Yes. 4K aerial video is available for real estate listings, construction progress reels, and commercial marketing. Most photo packages can add video for a modest additional fee.
How far in advance should I book?
We can typically schedule within 48-72 hours. Real estate agents with active listings often get same-week service. Recurring construction documentation clients get priority scheduling.
